Castles Made of Sand,
Fall in the Sea,
OK, as of this second I am completely up to date! Nothing held back, etc. etc.
Everything looks good so far. Lucid owns!

Always check the stickies;
Dell 480 XPS 3G ram Quad Core 2.40GHz, Radeon HD 2400 PRO, Audigy1, 3x320G HDD, 320G External, Debian Testing for use, Debian Squeeze for secure use, Debian Sid for FUN
@ELD: I'm fine with waiting, I was just curious as to how Cavsfan managed to be completely updated, but appreciate the confirmation
Thanks a lot! I thought I was off topic and looked in Lucid Lynx Testing and Discussion and found it.
Must have been about the same time you posted this!
I was getting off for the day. I just got on and got it fixed.
tokyobadger and ELD,
I don't have a clue as to why my system is up to date and your's is not.
I posted that last night and this morning I seen more emails from Lucid Changes and just got the latest updates.
I just checked Update Manager and it lists initramfs-tools and it's grayed out.
But, if you have been following this thread, you'd know that I don't use Update Manager except to see if there are any updates.
I use these three commands provided to me by Ranch Hand:
"sudo apt-get update"
"sudo apt-get upgrade"
"sudo apt-get dist-upgrade"
If Update Manager mentions "Partial Update" or the output of the 2nd command says
it is going to remove something and nothing is going to replace it I leave it alone.
I come back later and check again.
Other than that I don't know what to tell you.
I don't use wine and I am on 64 bit also as you can see from my sig.
@Cavsfan: thanks for clarifying, I was just curious; this is the first time I stuck with any version of ubuntu more than 3 days and I've committed to a 'vanilla' experience especially during the testing cycle and I'm just trying to understand what's going on
