    creating space around windows in maxmized/tiled modes.

    Is there any possible way to have gtk/ubuntu/someothermetod to create a space around windows, so that when I would maximize/tile the windows, there would be +- 5 px of space between them.

    I was thinking maybe modifying the borders, and somehow make them transparent...

    Also ,if the solution is theme-independent, that would be awesome.
