Surely, it's well agreed among the IT community that computer problems are user problems most of the time. Maybe it came across a little rude, but it's the truth?

I have been in IT for many years , and a lot of that time involved with support and I disagree with your statement.

Clause one of our code which is also in bold states the following " Be respectful of all users at all times. This means please use etiquette and politeness. Treat people with kindness and gentleness. If you do this the rest of the code of conduct won't need more than a cursory mention."
