    Thanks

I live in the United States, and today we traditionally celebrate what we call Thanksgiving. I've always thought this was a U.S. based thing, but I wanted to extend 2 things here:

    • many thanks to Ubuntu forum community which has helped me so greatly over the last year
    • hoping that no matter where you are in the world today, you can perhaps find something to be thankful for.

I know there are a lot of places and people in this world who, unfortunately, due to race, religion, government, lack of food, lack of shelter, lack of money, lack of anything ever so basic, probably don't feel they have anything to be thankful for. Ubuntu is such a world wide thing, and being free I would imagine it appeals even more to those less fortunate than me in the world.

I feel extremely fortunate. I wish everyone peace.

    Dave

I always wondered if everyone cooked Turkey at the same time if the fumes would travel around the world.

That would be cool. See Britain, we have something you don't, dry Turkey meat.
