    Dual Display Question

I have my laptop hooked up to my 19 samsung tv as a second monitor and i'm curious as if it's possible to have my gnome panel stretch across both screens, but still have anything i maximize stick to the screen that it is on.

here's my xorg.conf file as of right now...

    Code:
    # nvidia-settings: X configuration file generated by nvidia-settings
    # nvidia-settings: version 1.0 (buildd@crested) Sun Feb 1 20:25:37 UTC 2009

    Re: Dual Display Question

Maybe you can use the Separate X screen setting under Configure Display Device in nvidia-settings manager.
