    Thank you for the information, so it could be a bug from the installer of the proprietary ATI driver ? I have to add that it's a fresh Lucid install.

    I think I will try to move the xorg.conf to see if the tablet works well, but I fear that my dual screen will not work.
    I'll see it when i'll be back home.

    @Robbyx : Don't have any solution but you could try to launch a lucid live cd and install the tablet to see if it works and if the problem comes from the fact that you upgraded rather than fresh installed.

    I recently switched from ubuntu 9 to 10.04 by installing in a new partition. These install instructions worked fine on 9 and I am attempting to replicate the results on 10.

    However, after this line

            make && sudo make install
    It produces the following errors at the bottom of the output.
    I simply don't know where to go from here. I've googled the errors only to find people not experiencing the same thing.

    Any help would be sincerely appreciated.

    I notice there is a package called xserver-xorg-input-wizardpen in the synaptic package manager. Should I be using that instead of this guide?

    Should I be downloading the deb file from that link and using the deb installer, or downloading the file and using the directions on this forum with the new version instead of the old? Or maybe just use synaptic package manager? I've done all three and none seem to work. Is this common, It must be some thing stupid I'm doing. Thanks for your time.

    The deb should be fine.

    Maybe you're not matching in the 70-wizardpen.conf in /usr/lib/X11/xorg.conf.d/.

    I'm trying to get a Trust TB-6300 (internal "UC-LOGIC Tablet WP8060U") to run on Debian Squeeze and one of my problems is that all instructions I found are for some Ubuntu version rather than for some xorg/udev/whatever version.

    This is strange for two reasons: it uses the driver "wacom" while it should use "wizardpen". And it does not configure /dev/input/mouse1 as a mouse (which I think it should). As far as I understand it, the driver should (in my case still) be determined by /lib/udev/rules.d/67-xorg-wizardpen.rules which reads:

    Ok, now I upgraded xorg and it seems to notice the file

    /usr/share/X11/xorg.conf.d/70-wizardpen.conf

    I am now in the state that is already richly documented: cursor stays in the upper left corner. Is it correct that this has not yet been resolved?

    Edit: setting MaxX etc. in /etc/X11/xorg.conf worked.
