Actually I went to J-Popcon 2009 in Valby, Denmark, not so long ago. The staff at the entrance were using a couple of Eee-pc's (901's I think) to check people in with. When I got 'processed' I snuck a peek at the screen, and lo and behold they were running Ubuntu.

I went as an Anon and had my picture done by a manga-artist (sure, not so anonymous anymore, I know ). Best weekend ever.

I saw a lot of people 'questioning' the link-together of linux and anime in the Slashdot-article, but it really seems like there are a relatively lot of anime-people on these forums, also compared to other distros' forums.
