Smile working on Python backup program

I have been working on a Rsync backup program for several weeks now, it is turning into a fairly nice little program. But as this is my first real (non tutorial) attempt at programming some help and input would be great.

I am aware that there are many different backup solutions out there already but for some reason this got stuck under my skin and it seemed like a good project to begin working on something to further my knowledge and skills.

A have found several Grsync clones written in different languages (not really remembering at this point) C I think. But have not found a Python version yet so maybe this can turn into something useful for the masses?

Anyway I have attached a *tar.gz of my project. Please give your input and help me grow it into a fun learning experience.

    Thanks

Re: working on Python backup program

I am now hosting my code here. Check in for updates. The code is in a strong devel cycle and is being updated fairly frequently.
