    Exclamation Auto-compression backup script

Does anyone have any experience with bash programming?

I need a script that can:
    1. take a folder named "Backup" in /home/username/Desktop/Backup
    2. then make a tar.7z archive of it on the Desktop named "Backup-DATE_GOES_HERE.tar.7z"
    3. And, how do I schedule the program to run every Saturday at about 3:00 PM?

Does anyone know how to do this? Because, I really don't want to do it manually (what if I forget to do it or something?).

it doesn't have to be 7zip. whatever will work better for miscellaneous data as long as it is a compressed tar archive.
