Thunderbird mail password ?

I have thunderbird and my net provider set up so I have to type in password to get my email.

I don't like having to type it in to send mail though. Any way to solve the sending password annoyance/problem?

Next time you are prompted for your password, I am pretty sure there is a radio button or check box that allows you to save the password.

Now, keep in mind, I only do not want to type password in when getting mail. I always want a password prompt when getting email.
