Adding Audio to a recorded video?

Anyone know a good program I can use to add audio to a video I recorded? I used this program, gtk-recordMyDesktop, to record my desktop, then converted it to an mpeg. However, I want to add a song to the video, an mp3, while it plays. Then I'm going to put it on youtube to show off my desktop. I don't think the gtk-recordMyDesktop porgram allows you to add an mp3 to it. So does anyone know what I can use for adding audio?

Pitivi is another user-friendly app which will allow the OP to simply drag and drop a soundtrack onto their video footage. It's available via synaptic.

    Cinelerra (really advanced)
    -or-
Pitivi (basic, but will do what the OP wants)
    -or-
Kdenlive (more advanced than pitivi, but more basic than cinelerra (this is a KDE app))
Currently Running: Linux Mint 7, Fedora 11, Fedora 12, and Ubuntu 9.10
