Home folder icons

Now that 9.10 supports the custom places icons from icon sets what would I need to do to get it to function? With the default icon set that comes with 9.10 all the places icons like music and documents have their custom icons. When I switch to a different icon set they all disappear. I have downloaded updated icon sets of the ones I am using from gnome look but it still won't work. I even set the icons manually but they don't update on the places menu when you do that only in the nautilus view of the home folder.

Any help?

Never mind I figured it out. I just had to reinstall the icon themes using more recent versions than the ones I had downloaded and all the symbolic links were present.
