    Flash HDD for OS

how does Ubuntu play with flash card?
such as a Compact Flash Card (like a 4, 8 or 16 GB)
is it programmed to that it wont fry out the flash card prematurely
or would i be better off going with DSL?
i havent even checked on that one yet
    but i need to
thanks to any replies that are given

From what I understand, it's quite possible that a flash HDD would be MORE reliable than an ordinary hard drive. However, it wouldn't hurt to follow all of the advice in this article.
