I don't want gnome-do to start at login, but cannot remove

I am using the 64-bit version of Kubuntu 9.10. I am VERY annoyed with gnome-do. It starts every time I login (w/ icon in sys tray). I've tried to apt-get remove, but it says it isn't installed. I've looked in all the autostart folders. I've deleted every "gnome-do" folder I can find and they just reappear the next time I login. Even tried reinstalling and then purging gnome-do. Nothing works! Please help me!!!!
