    gnome shell on startup

I have gnome shell installed but i am unsure how i can make it my default window manager.

I would have added this to the other gnome shell thread but that is more of a discussion then a help thread.

Here's the same topic with a couple of ideas.

Since this is your first experiment using gnome shell, how do you compare it to regular gnome desktop? Speed would be by first question, but not entirely or I would be using LXDE right now. Does it feel stable?

    Re: gnome shell on startup

I have to admit for me at least it is buggy at best. As of right now for some reason i have no menus although i did yesterday lol so i am glad i haven't made the change to my system just yet to make it the default. I am more then willing to keep working with it I am a fan of major breakage in testing
