    More than one hardrive?

Hello everyone and thanks for the help in advance. I recently bought a 500gb sata hardrive, and I currently have a 250gb hd I want to use them both the 250 for linux and 500 for windows but im not sure if this can be done. I am not world about lossing data so i can format them with gparted running live cd but I am not sure If two differnt size hard drives will work that way.

They are both internal drives? This should be easy to do. Both the Ubuntu and Windows installers will allow you to choose which hard drive you install to. No need to reformat the drives with a livecd, because that will be taken care of when you install.

Just make sure you install Ubuntu second, so that it will see your windows hard drive and add it to the grub menu
