Lightbulb GNU/Linux security, for PERSONAL use

Do you think an updated GNU/Linux is secure? This poll is about a GNU/Linux box for PERSONAL use, not as a server.
Please tell us about the reasons that made you vote for an option and not for another.

    Hi Zied,
Linux is the kernel, GNU/Linux is the operating system,
so by saying "GNU/Linux box" I mean GNU/Linux operating system (Linux computer), is it secure? for sure I am talking about popular distributions including ubuntu kubuntu and non ubuntu distributions

    Thx Neo31.
    Yes I think it's secure.
but adding all kind of software can make your system not secure of course

I think that ubuntu is secure "out of the box", but as Zied said "but adding all kind of software can make your system not secure of course"
