Druke, can you please put the time of day for the IRC meeting in your OP edit? Or that hasn't been decided yet? If it's still open, I suggest 3pm Austin time.

9pm on Sunday for a meet that is quite late. Some people may have to work.
Not that I have any input but I think that you might get a greater attendance if you scheduled it mid day.

Anything Going On in the Austin Area. I'm new to Ubuntu and looking for a place to learn more from others.

Howdy! I'm an Austin local as well.

We don't have much going on at the moment, check https://wiki.ubuntu.com/TexasTeam for more information on us. We mainly communicate over the mailing list.

The primary upcoming event is Texas Linux fest. I'm also sure there will be some sort of release part for lucid.
