Show disk activity in Gnome panel

    Hi guys,

I'm looking for an applet that shows the harddisk activity in the Gnome panel. The important part here is, that it should not show infos like MB/s or percentages or whatsoever, but I just want to have some kind of LEDs that blink when reading/writing.

On Mac OS X I use a program called MenuMeters that adds two blinking LEDs (red for writing, green for reading) to the menubar (look at the screenshot).

For Gnome I just found some applets that are able to show CPU usage, temperature etc ... But none of them have an option to just show a "LED".

Maybe someone of you know such a program I'm looking for.

There are thousands of panel applets out there, and nobody knows of such a simple thing?

Could it be that this is too simple

    Hi,

Check this link out, it shows how to monitor disk activity in the panel.
