I have an nvidia driver so I think that might be the problem, if not correct me. The icon is a question mark for some reason and it's located in the 'other' category instead of Preferences.
When I try starting the program it makes everything on my desktop disappear except for the wallpaper then everything comes back after a few seconds and Compiz isn't running.
