No screensaver when running on battery

I just installed 9.10 I've noticed a small problem. The screensaver works fine when my laptop is running on AC power, but when it runs on battery power, the screensaver doesn't appear when locking the screen or waiting for it to activate. The screen does fade to black, and locks, but no screensaver...just a black screen.

and how do i set the screen saver to be a single image

Ok the problem is.. in battery mode your screen will go to sleep mode before it runs the screen saver.

open System>Preferences>Screen saver

and click on the Power Management button
now it should have a tab related to batter power. click on that and increase the monitor sleep time.

thx the monitor sleep time and the screen saver where both set to 5 minuets (oops... should of checed that )
