A Linux Alternative to Media Player Classic for Creating Thumbnails?
So far, the only media player I can find that creates thumbnails of movie files is Media Player Classic, but unfortunately that only runs on Windows.
I'm absolutely certain that other applications exist that also produce thumbnails (not just screenshots), but all of the players I have installed on my Ubuntu machime (e.g. Media Player, mplayer, vlc player, gxine, etc.) don't seem able to produce them.
If you believe they can produce them, I'd greatly appreciate someone telling me how. Otherwise, does anyone know of an app I can install that generates thumbnails?
I've attached a thumbnail generated by MPC to explain the sort of output I'm looking for.
