Since there are a zillion topics on Xgl, compiz, etc. could you please make a subforum for it?

Good point. So there's a zillion XGL threads here? XGL_threads^10 are not even half of the amount of xorg threads we have.Originally Posted by kassetra

The dapper forum gets drowned in topics about XGL and compiz etc that we all know will _not_ be a part of (supported) dapper.
Please make a separate forum for the XGL stuff, so we can concentrate on Dapper in the Dapper forum!

xorg is a core component in Dapper.
Xgl is not part of Dapper. (It just needs dapper to run)
Dapper needs a lot of love now, please let us focus on problems in Dapper in the Dapper forum! Please make a Xgl forum!
Of course, Xgl is great, and it is great that Xgl makes more people try Dapper

At this time, we will not be creating a subforum for Xgl/compiz related matters; although that may change in the future.

Thanks for the answer.
"At this time," - well it is _now_ that we need it, not after Dapper is released
Do you understand my point that all these Xgl posts destroy the usefulness of the dapper forum? We really need a (clean) dapper forum to discuss dapper problems.
