humphreybc Skinny Soy Caramel Ubuntu Join Date: Mar 2009 Location: New Zealand Beans: 663 Ubuntu 9.10 Karmic Koala	3D for HD2600... Hi, So I'm using the radeon open source driver at the moment on Karmic because the fglrx driver gives me a kernel panic (grr). As I understand it, I cannot run 3D on this driver... compiz won't enable, Google Earth runs very slowly... etc etc So why then do I get 350 FPS on glxgears? Is this not 3D? I've heard talks about an "experimental" 3D support for r6xx/r7xx cards... how do I install this? Should I? __________________ Ubuntu Manual Project \| Launchpad \| My Website \| My Wiki
