    Shut laptop cover, everything freezes

    Hello,

When I shut my notebook cover and reopen it, everything is frozen and there is nothing I can do but force a shut down. Does anyone have a solution to this (other then not shutting the laptop )?

    I am running 10.10 on a Asus 1015p

    Thanks,
    Kyle

Found something that helped fix it:
    http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1596545&page=4

Well something changed and I seem to be no closer to a fix. When I try to hibernate I get a black screen with white text that says:
    Looking for splash system...none
    s2disk: snapshotting system

    Anyone with any ideas?

Same Problem. It shows this message then just asks to login again. without ever hibernating. It been like this for a few weeks. Dont know what changed it.
