Thread: bluetooth applet doesn't remember my settings!

    Cool bluetooth applet doesn't remember my settings!

    When i turn off bluetooth from the applet, at reboot it turns again on!

    Why doesn't it remember my choice?

    How can i disable bluetooth?

    Yeah it does it here too, just upgraded to 10.10 and this is the first search result on google.

    I ended up turning it off in my BIOS.

    I had this problem on my iMac, so no BIOS settings to change...

    You could use a different Bluetooth manager. I use Blueman, which has a disable option that is remembered.

    Search for 'blueman' in the Ubuntu Software Centre and install.

    You can get rid of the default Bluetooth manager by uninstalling the 'bluetooth' package.
