    Best Photoshop version to install...

    Hi guys,

wondering if anybody could tell me which release of photoshop works best with 9.10?

I don't mind going back to CS2 but preferably no further

Oh, also, which version of Flash works best with wine?

    Many Thanks,
    Scruff

I use GIMP, you might want to do some more reading on it, since it can do everything photoshop can do, but, pretty tricky to use.

CS2 will run excellent. There are also some untrivial ways to install and run the latest Photoshop.

Flash will run only Flash 8.

If you install virtualbox you can run the latest version.

If you just need some retouching and unless you are a professional designer, you can try Gimp.

GIMP doesn't come close to the full functionality of Photoshop. Gimp layering is so basic that in most cases it is useless.

And yes I use both quite often. Only reason I use Gimp is for some quick tasks because it loads a little faster than PS and I'm impatient...
