How old is too old for Trick or Treating? :P
The question has been bugging me for awhile now. I'm 16 and thinking this will probably be the last year I go trick or treating, I wouldn't even go this year but the thoughts of giant bags of candy was just barely enough to overcome that. Last year all my friends did it but this year they got into a "bad crowd" and I stopped hanging out with them, I texted them anyways and asked if they still trick or treat and they said they were going to a "party", so it makes me feel like I'm an idiot being 16 and trick or treating still. I have no friends anymore so I have no one close to ask if they still do it or not. Either way weather I'm too old or not I know I'm at least going to try and enjoy this Halloween and see if I can get some candy. Lol.
I've noticed that their seem to be people here of all ages so do you still trick or treat and if not when did you stop?
Edit: My comment I left at the back of this thread;
Yeah something I never really realized... How much of a little kids thing Trick or Treating is. I walked out my door and it was nothing but little 5year olds running around the street with their parents while cars drove at 2mph with more cautious parents inside, I walked one block, turned around, and went home, didn't even stop to get candy.
Me and my friends always went to this huge neighborhood for Trick or Treating (just going to say ToT now) and I figured we went to it simply because well, it's huge, but now I realise we went there because the place was well known for high drugs, violence, gangs, and so on, no parent in their right mind would let a kid under 13 in that neighborhood, so most ToT'ers in there were 14 to 21+, so it just made me think ToT was for teens too. Boy was I wrong.
