I have an Nvidia GeForce 7300 that I bought about 4 years ago. Last night I heard it pop really loud (didn't know what it was at the time). When I booted up my computer this morning, the graphics were really wacked out. A lot of strange color patches around. I removed the video card and saw that there were several components on the board that appear to be the source of the noise. I'm attaching the images here. I'm just curious if there's anything that caused this problem, or if it's typical for a video to fail like this after a few years.
