    there was also a pulseaudio update today, but that did not fix the stuttering audio while playing videos.

    btw. you can also ad ubuntustudio meta in the repo to get a lot of audio and video stuff.

    Thanks for this jmszr, I had the same problem as other after upgrading and this solved them. I can now watch videos in both VLC and totem

    I can only scratch my head and say whats up with the Totem Movie/music player. Download all the codecs and it runs pretty much everything.

    has always up to date packages of vlc.

    now my vlc runs perfect after i had a reboot! pulseaudio needed it...
