Karmic-no mousewheel click?

my mouse button2 (mousewheel) is not working.xev also does not report any event.Any ideas?

yeah I guess it works for most. If not it would be all over this place

Are you sure the mouse itself is ok?

Is it just when you scroll or is it when you click down? I'm assuming its both.

Sure mouse is ok.(Have an intrepid running on other machine).
Mousewheel (scrolling) works,only the "click" does not...

Similar problem here... I think. How do I get my mouse wheel to scroll up and down the webpage when iI click in? For example, in IE when I click in the mouse wheel and move the mouse up and down the web page will scroll with the mouse movement.
