I have just installed Ubuntu 9.10 from scratch on my Thinkpad t61, and having problems with the ethernet adapter - Intel PRO/1000.
During the installation language package etc. was downloaded through the ethernet adapter, but after the installation it wont work.

And keep saying this. A number of devices is on the same switch, and working perfectly.
Does anyone else see this?
