ubuntu 9.10 release

Its October 29 over here in Australia, and the ubuntu website hasn't released ubuntu 9.10, is it delayed or am I just not looking hard enough

Calm down. If you really want to get it, get the RC now. It'll download faster, and it's just a matter of a few upgraded apps come tomorrow. Nothing major.

Also, your part of the world actually has a different time than everywhere else, and there are 24 hours in a day...so it will be released *SOMETIME* when it's Oct 29 *SOMEWHERE*

i think this is the only time of 2x year that the devs look at the forums, to see what kind of anticipation there is for the next release ... i know i would be if i was in their shoes.

I would go with the RC...but then again, I was so excited that I downloaded Karmic in July-ish...I think it was alpha 3?

I am really waiting for Fedora 12. I have tested Karmic RC, it is MUCH better than 9.04. However, I prefer fedora. We poor fedora users have to wait almost another month!
