Great, thanks for the info. Burning now, but I've got to leave for lectures in just over an hour... Hopefully I can get it going by then.

does that mean that

is being updated with the final version?
I've never used Ubuntu before so I'm kind of excited.. I'm tired of Windows and am looking for a way out for my slow computer.
I heard that Xubuntu and Kubuntu are have faster interfaces.. does anyone know if Xubuntu 9.10 is available already? Thanks a lot!
www.kubuntu.org just updated to show the release
I'm actually a happy Mac OS 10.5.8 user, but I am tired of the ad wars between Apple and Microsoft, especially since our network has been having a fit over Snow Leopard (and users are having issues with some of their software on it too).
But I have been wanting to dip my toes into Linux for a while now. I have run some other OSs on VirtualBox, but I have been waiting for Ubuntu 9.10 instead of downloading 9.04.
