CDN vs NonCDN? Trivial Question of the Day

Looking at the url for 9.10 Release:
    http://noncdn.releases.ubuntu.com/9.10/

I noticed this noncdn thing with it so I then tried:
    http://cdn.releases.ubuntu.com/9.10/

And got the same thing (or at least it looked that way)
    What is CDN?

CDN is an abbrevation for a number of things. It could be this...

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Content_delivery_network
    Aspire One D257, 2GB DDR3-1333
