"The driver is activated but not currently in use"

I have a compaq 6715b with a broadcom 4311. I installed the windows driver and it works but everytime I start my system up I have to go to System>Administration>Hardware drivers and deactivate then activate again.
Why that? and how can I activate at the start up? Because this is a installation for an entire company and to activate you need sudo permissions that the users don't have.
