Notebook Wireless Mouse not working under Ubuntu
((Yes. this is another wireless mouse-thread. I see several threads on issues with wireless mice, but when it comes to RF (Radio) mice it's mostly on glitches and tweaks. I only see threads on BT not working at all. So, this is one about a non-BT mouse that is not working at all.))
After liberating my laptop from Vista and installing Ubuntu 9.04 my wireless mouse stopped working completely (Microsoft Wireless Notebook Optial Mouse 4000 v.1). My wired UBS-mouse works fine, so USB-ports are OK, the laptop can apparently recognise an external mouse etc. Does anyone know how to get it to work? Is there maybe anything like the "Windows Wireless Drivers" that enables the use of the Windows drivers for mice?
Please help. It would be so nice to have this mouse working again. Love it.
Re: Notebook Wireless Mouse not working under Ubuntu
There are many reasons why a mouse wont work
Some times the reason could be funny , like... "have you checked the batteries?"
or "Have you rebooted with the mouse connected?"
There is a feedback from someone who has the exact same mouse and he says its working
Take a look here
