Slow wireless internet connection Dell Inspiron 6400

Hi guys to I am new to Linux. So I don't really know where to start. Right now I am updating my Ubuntu and I noticed that I have a very slow wireless INTERNET connection but if I boot to my Vista everythings normal. So I just want to know whats causing this and how am I able to fix this, to be honest I don't know where to start.

btw I am using Ubuntu 9.04 JJ
