    nano editor

I use Ctl-right/left arrow to move to the next/previous word when editing the command line. These keys also work in gedit and alpine, but not in nano which only responds to Ctl-space/M-space. Is there a setting for nano to have it accept Ctl-right/left arrow as well?

I tried finding that myself. It doesn't look like you can change the keys for moving a word at a time in nano.

I hope I'm wrong and someone can correct me because I would love to set it to use Ctrl-right/left arrow.

It looks like version 2.1.1 of nano supports user-rebindable keys:

    http://freshmeat.net/projects/nano/releases/274934

However, 2.0.9 is the most recent stable version and that is what is packaged with Karmic.

I was on the site earlier and totally missed that! I'll definitely compile that later and check it out.
