let me recall what i did.
install:
sqlite3 libsqlite3-dev
libssl-dev
libglib2.0-dev -- if needed
libfox-1.6.0 libfox-1.6-dev

then compile:
./configure
make
sudo make install

reply if you have errors on my procedure.

Gusto ko rin try to for future use. So of course, I need to know how to install properly.

Questions:
1. Yung sa install, kailangan bang sunod-sunod ang sequence ng mga yan (unahin muna ang sqlite3 libsqlite3-dev then libfox-1.6.0 libfox-1.6-dev ang panghuli?)
2. How to compile? Hindi ko kasi alam pa yan...
3. Kailangan bang may naka-install muna na server at client before mag-run yung server?

Plan ko testing yung server sa host OS ko (Ubuntu 11.10) then yung client naman sa guest OS (WinXP).

.. prepare your lockpix[.gif] and put it inside the /(root) .. should be the same dimension [as] desktop ..

type .. gksudo nautilus and simply copy paste your lockpix[.gif] to ..

CORRECTION:

The 'screen locked' image needs to be in: ~/.mkahawa

eg. (assuming image file is in Pictures folder.)

  mkdir ~/.mkahawa  (unless already exists!)

  cp ~/Pictures/MyLockImage.gif ~/.mkahawa/lockpix.gif

CORRECTION:

The 'screen locked' image needs to be in: ~/.mkahawa

eg. (assuming image file is in Pictures folder.)

  mkdir ~/.mkahawa  (unless already exists!)

  cp ~/Pictures/MyLockImage.gif ~/.mkahawa/lockpix.gif

well according to ouwor there has been a flaw in putting the lockpix inside .mkahawa so he told me to put it inside the root as a "workaround" just in case.

i did encounter errors during compile on ubuntu 11.10 like the one David says gui.cpp. let's also ask him if he can pack mkahawa for us para dretso na ta install di na ta compile, hehehe.

yung pag nagopen ka ng computer lalabas na agad doon yung logo ng mkahawa sa client ng hindi na gumagamit ng terminal? baka kasi maexit nila yung terminal tpos mawawalan na ng pkinabang yung server hindi na niya makikita yung client niya.

ginawa ko siya kahit nga yung lockpix kaya lang hindi ko naman alam kong paano siya papaganahin.
