    Red face Getting a scanner to work

    Hi all,

    I'm using Ubuntu 9.04, I'm tring to get my scanner working it's a Microtek ScanMaker 4850. Could someone help me?

    According to these pages, that scanner isn't supported in Linux, and it seems few Microtek models are. Microtek doesn't seem to be willing to provide the necessary specs or assistance.
