    SSD partition alignment help

I just got a Kingston V-Series 64GB SSD and wanted to know how to align the partitions. The documentation for this procedure is sparse or poorly written online.

Please don't direct me to OCZ Forums, as I've already looked there and haven't found good instructions.

    Re: SSD partition alignment help

I wish I could help you but I used the OCZ forum guide to align my SSD and install Jaunty which worked fine for me.
I am not aware of more detailed instructions anywhere else. May be somebody else can guide you.
    Good luck

Yeah, the thing is, I'm aligning a Kingston SSD, and there aren't any guides for it.

    Re: SSD partition alignment help

So far as I understand it doesn't matter which brand of ssd you use. The recommended alignment tool "diskpar" works for all hard drives. In other words the math is always the same. If you are interested in some hands on advice I could tell what I did. Let me know.
