Hi all, I'm a newbie and I am having trouble getting the sound working on a HP Mini 110. I have done a lot of searching around and I know this this known bug but none of the fixes I have found so far are working for me. I have tried updating ALSA using the instructions on this link http://monespaceperso.org/blog-en/2010/05/02/upgrade-alsa-1-0-23-on-ubuntu-lucid-lynx-10-04/ as well as modifying my alsa-base.conf in many different way but I just can't crack the combination. If any one has a HP Mini 110 with working sound i would love to see you alsa-base file to see what I'm doing wrong. At one point the sound working through the headphone jack but now I it seams I have broken that. I would love to keep using Ubuntu as I like the interface and the fact that I am less likely to get a virus but this is my girl friend's computer and i really need to get it working. Thank you for your time.
