Intel 4965AGN - does it work?

Hello.

I'm considering buying a laptop with an Intel 4965AGN WiFi card. Of course I would like it to work fully under Ubuntu, so I'd like to know if said WiFi card works.
Does any of you have experience with this device on Ubuntu? If so, I'd appreciate your comments.

I'm in the same boat, I found a laptop I like but it has this card. I've seen a number of threads here (just search for 4965AGN) showing problems with this card, however in a number of the threads the user was able to fix the issue.

So I'm kind of torn... it is a supported card apparently, so if nothing else support for it should improve in the future.

Don't be too downhearted, looking around the forum suggests that you may have had a few issues getting it to work easily.
