Lenovo G450 brighteness control on ubuntu 9.10

Friends I have lenovo G450 series laptop its brightness can be adjusted using Fn+up arrow and Fn+down arrow this shortcuts where working fine in jaunty but after installing karmic they stopped working,Please tell me is there any way to make it work in jaunty?
Is there any option like reverting to old good jaunty keyboard driver(or is it keyboard layout?? !!) please solve my issue

Same here. the Fn + up arrow worked perfectly in 9.04, it is broken in 9.10 karmic koala. however, Fn + right arrow & left arrow works perfectly for increasing and decreasing volume.
