    sounds in hp pavilion dv4

    Ok, so I am running the beta of Karmic Koala and most of the sound is working except the system beep. It more like a buzz that may potentially damage my speakers. Anybody know or can lead me to a thread on how to fix it?

    As of yet I do not believe there is a way to stop that VERY annoying beep on system shutdown.....it's a pain in the a*s but no...I don't believe there is a fix for that yet. Sorry

    I'm not trying to get rid of the system beep. I'm trying to get it so it sounds like a beep right now it sounds more like a buzz.
