No artwork in Rhythmbox

Is it just me or is there a problem with Rhythmbox downloading artwork for your cd collection. I know this used to work; but since I've been forced to do a reinstall recently (and so close to Karmic!!!!), Rhythmbox seems unable to download anything.

I must add there is no problem with the internet connection, unless I've accidently blaclisted the site where it gets the artwork from...... Trouble is which site is this???

Yeah, it does seem odd. I unfortunately have over a thousand albums and the thought of manually downloading is not good!!!!!!!!!!! I heard also that Amarok is experiencing a similar problem. I know they use Amazon; so could it be an issue with using their database?

Hi,i still have this problem in 9.04 and my artwork is embeded on the metadata,try banshee is my sugestion.

That's interesting! I will have a look to see if it has been raised as a bug with the developers. Banshee is an option, but I like to get things working if possible. Also I have had issues with Banshee before.... admittedly using OpenSuse.

Ok I've done a little digging and found similar bugs in launchpad..... but not quite the same as the one (as far as I can tell) we have. So I've raised a new Bug #449703

It might be worth checking if you get the same error as me and if so adding yourself to the "me too".
