Karmic Screen Resolution

Hi!

I recently upgrade from Jaunty to Karmic, and I have an issue with the screen resolution. In preference > display, the max res is 1024 x 768. In Jaunty I had 1280x1024 too, and is the one I used.
The PC is a HP with integrated Intel video and a 17'' monitor.
Is there any way to enable the 1280 resolution again =(.

I tried the solutions proposed there before posting, but none of them worked. But googling (a lot!) I found that it seems to be a kernel issue (of the 2.6.31 version) with Intel video drivers, and I fixed it installing 2.6.32 rc 4 =).
