GDesklets

When launching gdesklets I get this error message:
Failed to execute child process "gdesklets" (no such file or directory)

I went to the Synaptic Package Manager and made sure they were loaded and I still get the same error.

Any help will be appreciated.

My solution was to install Screenlets XD , I think they are much cooler
(but that's just me)

On top of that, it won't uninstall properly.

Thanks, I only use a few and found what I wanted.

Apparently there is a bug with gdesklets in Jaunty in that its looking to use python 2.5 and Jaunty uses 2.6. If you install python 2.5 gdesklets should work.

Got GDesklets working.. and I really like the launcher one...
to install gdesklets you run gdesklets-shell

I did once try to install an update.. but qmake etc was erroring so a bit complicated for me.....
