9.10 Beta DVD ISO fails to install from flashcard

I downloaded the current 9.10 Beta DVD ISO (md5sum validated) with the intentions of re-installing my current install on my EEEPC 1000HE. However, I discovered that after unetbootin the ISO to an 8Gb flashcard, the installer craps out trying to load additional drivers from an non-existant CDROM drive and will not allow me to install it.

Is there a 9.10 Beta Live ISO available? If so I can't seem to find one.

Can you clarify your question? You state that you downloaded beta DVD iso, then ask if 9.10 beta live iso is available.

Do you mean a newer version than beta? If so then try
    http://cdimage.ubuntu.com/daily-live/

Or do you mean regular 700mb beta livecd instead of DVD?
